The production team for *Dr. Stone: Science Future*, the fourth and final season of the *Dr. Stone* anime, announced that the season will air in 2025. It will be split into three separate cours (each a quarter of a year). To celebrate the anime’s fifth anniversary, an art exhibit will start in November 2024 in Tokyo, and will also visit Fukuoka, Osaka, and other locations.
Crunchyroll will stream the anime in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
The first cour of *Dr. Stone: New World*, the third season of *Dr. Stone*, premiered in Japan in April 2023 and concluded with its 11th episode. Crunchyroll streamed the episodes as they aired in Japan and also provided an English dub. The series began airing on Toonami in June 2023.
The second cour of *Dr. Stone: New World* premiered in Japan in October 2023. Crunchyroll showcased the U.S. premiere of this cour at New York Comic Con in October 2023. The 22nd and final episode of this season aired in December 2023.
The first season of *Dr. Stone* debuted in July 2019. Crunchyroll streamed the season as it aired, while Funimation provided an English dub. The series premiered on Toonami in August 2019.
The second season, *Dr. Stone: Stone Wars*, premiered in January 2021. Crunchyroll streamed the series worldwide, except in Asia, and Funimation provided an English dub. This season debuted on Toonami in May 2021.
The manga series, created by Boichi (known for *Sun-Ken Rock*) and Riichirou Inagaki (author of *Eyeshield 21*), was serialized in *Weekly Shonen Jump* from March 2017 to March 2022, spanning 26 volumes. Viz Media published the manga both digitally and in print, while MANGA Plus also offered a digital English version.
